Find the Healthshare Plan that’s Right for You!
Healthshare plans are a typically lower cost insurance coverage alternative that involve members contributing money to cover each other's medical expenses, often with specific eligibility criteria and exclusions based on the organization's guidelines. These plans were designed for occasional doctor visits with additional coverage for unforeseen events.
Note that each one of the plans listed below lists an IUA—Initial Unshareable Amount. An IUA is the most you’ll have to pay for healthcare services during your plan period (per incident). Once you meet your IUA, that’s when your costs start being covered.
Platinum Plan
The Platinum Plan has low Co-Pays for services such as doctor office and specialist visits, preventative care with no deductible to be met. This design is for individuals and families that have the occasional doctor visits and want the peace of mind knowing they are protected for the unforeseen events.
Catastrophic Concierge Plan
The Concierge Plan was designed to offer a level of protection for the unforeseen events such as surgery, prolonged hospital stay, cancer, or any illness that could make a financial impact.
What is an IUA (Initial Unsharable Amount)?
An IUA is the most you’ll have to pay for healthcare services during your plan period (per incident). Think of it as your safety net in the event of a major health problem. You have a max of 3 incidents where you pay the IUA in a 12-month period. For any incident beyond that, the IUA is reduced to $500 per incident. Unlike a deductible or traditional max-out-of-pocket, the IUA does not reset until you are symptom-free for 12 months. If it took 5 years to go symptom-free, you would only pay the IUA once.
